Jo moved to Little Flower in August of 2021. The location and ease of access to anything the city has to offer are what first caught her eye and were big driving factors behind her move here. Now that she's been here a while, she has fallen in love with the history of the neighborhood and the community she's found. Her professional work is in the Insurance/Technology industry. When she is not working or volunteering, she enjoys exploring outdoors, soaking in live music shows and searching for the “next” greatest meal she's ever had.

Bethany moved to Little Flower in 2016 where she bought her first home. In the past couple of years, she has turned her front yard into a garden full of native plants. Sitting on the front porch, watching the birds and butterflies feed off the garden is a favorite pastime, regardless of the season.

Gabi moved to Little Flower in early 2020 and has served on the board since that summer. She works in product at a local tech startup. She finds the neighborhood to be something really special with its history, sense of community, and diversity. She loves enjoying the outdoors in Little Flower: caring for her yard & garden, reading in a hammock in the backyard, or long walks with her partner and two dogs.

Brooke moved to Little Flower in January of 2021 when she bought her first home. She has been an east side resident since 2011. Most of her professional life has been in education and non-profit until last year when she changed fields to work in property restoration.

Brooke loves taking a walk in Little Flower because she sees so many friends and meets new neighbors and their pets.

In her free time she enjoys home improvement, making things, music, and tending to plants.

Andrea and her husband Bob moved into the neighborhood in 2000 when they bought their first home.

I have been involved with animal welfare for over 20 years. I have been the board president for a local TNR non-profit since 2019. We have several community cats that are now enjoying the indoor life.

I love our neighborhood as it feels like the small town where I grew up out in Putnam County. I enjoy walking through the neighborhood, talking with my neighbors, getting to know people.

In my free time I enjoy hiking, spending time with friends, music, working in our yard, and people watching from our deck. 

I am from the east side of Indianapolis. I have a passion for learning, process improvements, and technology. I practice many types of martial arts, wood working, metal working, and role playing games. I studied Biology, Chemistry, Spanish, and Philosophy at university. I work in IT for Indianapolis-Marion County.

Jakob moved to Little Flower in 2021. He enjoys a car-free lifestyle because for fun, health, and connection with the community. Jakob believes the Near Eastside has a lot of potential to be a safe and walkable area and advocates for local change.

Jakob enjoys bouldering, walking with his dog around the neighborhood, and taking care of his plants. 

Miles moved to Little Flower in mid-2022 after buying his first home. He works in user research & UX design at a civic technology company working on a piece of the social safety net. Outside of work he can be found juggling volunteer and home improvement projects, going on walks around the neighborhood and to area parks, reading, or tending to a growing assortment of house plants.

Eavan moved to Little Flower in late 2019. Right away, she got involved in the neighborhood by participating in an Art Walk exhibition in 2020 and as a result, has a limestone sculpture called The Posy (by a Little Flower resident artist!) permanently in her front yard which celebrates the neighborhood's cultural diversity. She and her rescue dog, Leo, love spending time in the back yard herb garden and watching thunderstorms roll through from the front porch.

Erin is an artist who moved to Little Flower in 2018, having lived on the eastside of Indianapolis since 2014. She holds a BFA in Ceramics from Herron School of Art + Design and an MS in Organizational Leadership from Purdue, blending her creative practice with a strong foundation in community-focused leadership. Erin works as a project manager at American Art & Clay Co. (AMACO) and sells her handmade ceramic wares at Hampton & Co. in Irvington.

Little Flower has been an amazing place for Erin to flourish creatively, offering both inspiration and a tight-knit community. She’s passionate about supporting local artists, fostering inclusive events, and helping maintain the neighborhood’s unique character. She believes in the power of art to connect people and is excited to help shape Little Flower’s future through collaboration and creativity.

I’m dedicated mom to two wonderful girls and happily married. I love little flower for its sense of community and familiarity. Growing up here, it’s always felt like home, now it’s a wonderful place to raise my daughters.
