Want to Be on Next Year’s Native Garden Tour?

Our Native Garden Tour is wrapping up for the year—but that doesn’t mean it’s too late to start planning your own native garden! Fall is a great time to plant many native perennials, trees and shrubs, giving them time to establish their roots before next summer.

Even a small garden can provide food and habitat for pollinators, birds and other wildlife while adding beauty and interest to your yard. If you’re thinking about adding natives, check out the Indiana Native Plant Finder to find plants suited to your site, or explore the Hamilton County SWCD’s native landscaping resources for ideas and local guidance.

Want to discover Indiana native plants in Little Flower? Make a note to check out the self-guided neighborhood tour this spring to continue celebrating Indiana native plants, pollinators, and community.

Plant a little—or a lot—this fall, and your garden could be one of the stops on next year’s tour!
