Announcing Neighbor Share

Hello neighbors!

My name is Brooke and I’m a member of the Little Flower Neighborhood Board

Association. Last fall several of us completed community leadership training through the Indianapolis Neighborhood Resource Center to secure a $1500 grant. We decided to put this grant toward the launch of a mutual aid project that we’re calling Neighbor

Share.

We are hoping to offer basic items and services to the Little Flower community. We will

be launching the program during our June yard sale. We will begin by taking donations

in the form of money and unused to gently used items to sell for money to go back into

Neighbor Share or give away for free if needed.

In addition to hosting a sale at 1526 N. Linwood Avenue, I will be accepting goods to

sale or donate for Neighbor Share, have items available for free to those who need

them, and be available to speak about the mutual aid project. We are also working

toward compiling a list of contact information for neighbors who are available to help

with basic tasks such as lawn mowing and small repairs.
