On Tuesday, January 20th, neighbors convened for our January 2026 Neighborhood Meeting. This blogpost will serve as a summary of the discussion and give neighbors who may have missed it the chance to catch up and weigh in.
First, we caught up with the public servants in attendance:
We were glad to be joined by Jesse Brown, our City-County Councilor; Rosemary "Rosie" Stockdale, our Mayor's Neighborhood Advocate; and Officer Stacy Riojas, our Community Resource Officer with IMPD. Each of these public servants encourage neighbors to reach them directly with concerns and questions, so we've included their contact information below:
Contact | Jesse Brown | Rosemary "Rosie" Stockdale | Officer Stacy Riojas |
Role | City-County Councilor for District 13 | Mayor's Neighborhood Advocate for Area 8 | Eastside Community Resource Officer |
Phone | (317) 370-7079 | (317) 452-0336 | (317) 327-2288 |
Note: Officer Riojas let us know that if neighbors feel they are having issues with possible predatory towing activities in the neighborhood, impacted neighbors should contact her directly to look into the issue. Updates from Safety & Land Use Committees:
After receiving updates from Jesse, Rosie, and Officer Riojas, we heard updates from our Safety & Land Use Committees of the Little Flower Neighborhood Association. Below is a video walkthrough by board member Gabi Weldy of the slides that were presented:
Once you watch the video, we would love for you to take our brief survey to share your feedback on our possible letter to the city regarding conditions on 10th Street! If you have additional questions or feedback on other materials in the slides, please email us at littleflowerneighborhood@gmail.com.
If you'd like to join our next neighborhood meeting or another event coming up soon, please see our full Events Calendar HERE.
