🐾 Pets of LFNA: Meet Linus & Lena

This month, we’re heading to 13th and Shannon to meet two very different — and equally iconic — neighborhood personalities: Linus and Little Lena. Thanks to Michelle Mucenski for sharing them with us!

šŸ‘‘ The Sheriff: Linus (Age 14)

Linus is a 14-year-old tan Chihuahua mix who proves that ā€œdistinguished gentlemanā€ and ā€œmenaceā€ can absolutely coexist in one very tiny body.

In the house:Ā He’s a submissive sweetheart who prefers to remain physically connected to at least one human body part at all times. Add a soft blanket, and he’s living his best life.

In the streets:Ā A total freak. From behind the safety of his fence, Linus transforms into the self-appointed Sheriff of 13th and Shannon — monitoring activity, enforcing standards and making sure everyone knows who’s in charge.

Tiny? Yes. Intimidating? Also yes.

šŸŽ¾ The Pro-Athlete: Little Lena (Age 8)

Little Lena is an 8-year-old black Poodle mix who clearly never received the memo about ā€œslowing down.ā€

Despite her years, she has the spirit — and stamina — of a caffeinated puppy.

The vibe:Ā Sweet, soulful and dangerously obsessed.

The mission:Ā Fetch. Always fetch. It’s not a hobby. It’s a calling.

If there’s a ball involved, Lena is locked in and ready for action.

We love getting to know the pets (and personalities!) that make Little Flower such a fun place to live.
