If you come to one Little Flower cleanup this year, we'd love for you to come to THIS one... Mark your calendars for the 10th St Edition of Litter League on Saturday, August 23!
As you may know, our neighborhood association puts on Litter League, a bimonthly neighborhood cleanup. Each cleanup, we take on 1/6th of the neighborhood so that by the end of the year, we've beautified all of Little Flower!
But this time, we're going to focus the bulk of our energy on 10th Street itself, starting at the east end of the neighborhood and working west from there, cleaning up the street as best we can in our 2-hour work window. There will be a lot of work to do, but we think we can get 10th Street looking great if we work together. That's where you come in!
Meet us at the corner of 12th & Bancroft-- look for the sign up table & refreshments! We'll provide trash grabbers, bags, and gloves. Many volunteers love using a 5-gallon bucket to gather trash, so bring one along if you like.
During this time, we'll also have a small number of volunteers working on August's section of the neighborhood (10th to 13th, Bosart to Emerson), so if you have kids that you're uncomfortable having that close to fast-moving traffic, we will still have work for you to do.
Where: 12th & Bancroft
When: Saturday, August 23 @ 9:00 AM
